We understand that good customer relationships based on integrity are the foundation on which any successful project, large or small, is constructed.
OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH THE CUSTOMER - Falewitch Construction Services is a premier contractor built on the development and maintenance of good customer relationships, and our project management structure is set up to foster the integrity of these relationships. Each project manager/estimator is responsible to the customer from the moment a project is estimated to the moment it is complete. By doing this, we gain the ability to insure our customers are treated like valuable people, not like sheets of paper to be stacked and handed off from project estimators, to project managers, to superintendents, to billing departments....
OUR GAME PLAN- Standing along side each project manager/estimator is a team of highly competent construction professionals with decades of experience and management systems to ensure Falewitch Construction Services DOES EXACTLY what we say, when and how it’s promised.
Joe Glogowski, Field Project Manager is like our special teams person. He is assigned to larger jobs or jobs with more complex plans to provide experience and guidance to the project manager/estimator and foreman. Joe ensures top quality work is done the first time. Anyone who has been associated with the carpentry trade in Omaha knows Joe. He has over 35 years experience, so no matter the challenge, we will have experience there to meet it.
The front line of this management team are the superintendents, Ron Diederich and Dave Weirich. Ron and Dave each have over 20 years experience in the carpentry trade.Their first responsibility is to ensure we have the manpower with the knowhow on the job to finish the project when and how we promised. Then they visit the projects daily to ensure incramental production goals are met and that quality work is being done in a safe manner.
SAFETY - Falewitch Construction Services also understands the value to our customers and the employees of providing safe construction services. Nothing can derail and stain a project like a serious accident, particularly projects in occupied public settings where customers, clients and the general public are present. To make certain we are never the cause of such problems, we have analyzed every step of each trade to identify all potential hazards of the trade. From that, we have training and procedures to control these hazards to an acceptable level of risk. There are more details on our safety program in other parts of this website.
HUMAN RESOURCES - Falewitch Construction only retains the best employees in our industry. To the customer, this means their project will be done on time and exactly as promised. To attract and keep the best people, they need to understand the company is concerned about their wellbeing. Companies having a reputation for not caring about their people will only attract those rejected by premier contractors like Falewitch; people you might not want on your project. We also have the capacity to rapidly scale up to meet aggressive deadlines and get the building owner into business and making money.
OCCUPIED PUBLIC SETTINGS - The nuisance factor of construction in occupied public settings such as hospitals, shopping centers, banks, executive offices, etc. can be very costly to the customer: loud, unexpected noises interrupting phone calls and meetings; dust on desks, computers, office machines and merchandise; inadvertent fire alarm activations; boisterous conversations in office areas; blocked doors; and poorly attired workers wondering around. We have addressed all of these issues and more through a training program we developed and enforce called “Professional Contractors in Occupied Public Settings.” All managers and employees who work in these settings are required to go through this training. Project managers plan for, and as part of their routine jobsite visits, strictly enforce the rules outlined in this training. Customers can be confident we will do everything possible to minimize the irritations caused by their construction projects.
SECURITY - Where security is a concern to customers such as banks, top executive offices, transportation hubs, etc. we have a system for doing background checks on our employees. We already have a number of employees with security clearances that can immediately work in such areas, and we can rapidly do more background checks if the production demands calls for it.
SUBCONTRACTOR CONTROL - Subcontracting can present many problems for a customer, particularly if the subcontractor does not have insurance, workers compensation or is actually a misclassified worker. We have a system that ensures subcontractors are registered with the state, they have current liability and workers compensation insurance, they have adiquate safety programs, and we have W9 tax forms for them on file. We are also set up to do background checks on the workers of subcontractors if necessary.
