Falewitch Prefab is seeking a skilled and safety-focused Machine Operator to support our prefab operations. This role is responsible for operating CNC machinery and steel rolling machines to fabricate metal framing components and related assemblies with precision, efficiency, and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machines and steel rolling equipment to manufacture metal framing and prefab components
- Read and interpret shop drawings, cut lists, and production schedules
- Set up machines, load materials, and adjust settings to meet production requirements
- Perform quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications and tolerances
- Monitor machine operation and identify issues related to tooling, materials, or setup
- Perform routine machine maintenance and report mechanical issues
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
- Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet production goals
- Assist with material handling and staging as required
Required Qualifications
- Experience operating CNC machinery and/or steel rolling machines
- Ability to read shop drawings and technical documents
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work in a physical shop environment
- Commitment to safety standards
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in metal framing or construction prefab operations
- Familiarity with light-gauge steel manufacturing
- Experience operating Aspire CNC equipment
- Forklift experience or willingness to be trained
- Basic computer skills
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
- Ability to stand and move throughout a shift
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
